22 months

At 22 months, Hunter is constantly testing his independence and exploring everything around him. He loves to climb everything, play with blocks, and watch Bob or Thomas. His vocabulary grows by the day and he has even said a few sentences.

The most impressive sentence so far was at my cousin's wedding rehearsal. He said, "Which way to Papa?" in a very distressed manner because he was clearly not getting what he wanted from me or his Grancie. It was adorable.

This is how Hunter goes down the slide:

Hunter loves to climb on the playground, and he has gotten really good at it:

  1. These pictures are all wonderful but oh, how I love the top one--such a healthy looking little man, striding along, exuding self-confidence and happiness. It's a well-framed shot full of many nice elements, as is the bottom photo. I like the sun-glare, the framing of the red bars, his arm reaching up, the breathless expression. Good color harmony too. Of course, the two on the slide are priceless and have so much merit from a photography standpoint. Oh the tongue. That just cracks me up. How did he react when you tried to remove the stick from his little hand when he was ready to have another go at the slide? Probably like Holly when I try to extract her from her big "outdoor" bone so we can go in the house. Ha!
Thank you, thank you again, for your wonderful photos and for sharing. Everyday, I come to your blog for a dose of smiles! You bless my grayest moments!
