We had such a wonderful time celebrating Hunter with friends, co-workers, and church family today. Our family was greatly missed....

I have watched it twice and am trying not to get all weepy over not getting to be there. I have thought a lot in recent days of pioneer families whose parents never even saw their children, or immigrants who left everyone behind forever...then I feel grateful for the electronic communications we have available to us and grateful again that you Kim, write your wonderful blog and post pictures and videos. We are heartbroken over not being there but comforted by staring intently at the tiny flickering image of you three that we love so much. What a momentous, covenant event. Praise God that you have placed Hunter in God's hands. We love you all so much. Amazing how Paul and I have never seen a baby NOT be quiet during at least the sacrament!
